If it’s true history, the only built-in thing is Significant Locations: Settings → Privacy & Security → Location Services → System Services → Significant Locations (if it’s even enabled). Otherwise you’re basically stuck with Google Maps Timeline (only if they use Google Maps + Location History was turned on) or Find My (not a real history, more current/limited).
Before you install any “parent GPS tracker” app: does it show actual timestamped routes, or just vague dots—and is it verifiable with exports/screenshots? Also, are you trying to do this with their consent or quietly (because iOS blocks a lot of silent tracking)?
